Computers4Kids is a local program supported, in large part, by our community. Without the support from the business community, school districts, and community members, C4K would not be able to bring technology into the homes of our area youth nor provide them with the needed training. Gifts to Computers4Kids are crucial to meet the technology needs of our area youth. Some of the ways in which you can contribute to Computers4Kids:

NEW! Due to an impending move, Computers4Kids is not accepting computer equipment donations at this time. We hope to be moved and ready to accept donations again by early April.

Equipment
If you are upgrading your computer, please contact us. We will accept any of the following computer equipment:

Pentium personal computers (500 Mhz or higher)
17" Monitors
Keyboards and mice
Printers (Bubblejet or Inkjet)
Servers
Hard Drives (1.2 GB or higher)
Other computer parts (CD-ROM drives, 56K modems, memory, cables, motherboards with CPU, speakers)

Donations
Computers4Kids relies on support from the community to assist individuals who cannot afford to purchase a home computer. All donations to Computers4Kids stay in the Charlottesville/Albemarle community to help our local youth in need. Computers4Kids accepts gifts of cash and bequests from Virginia residents. C4K is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. In most cases, donantions to C4K are fully deductible for donors who itemize deductions on Schedule A of their personal income tax return.
