1. Design holiday cards or birthday cards that the student can send to friends and family. Microsoft Publisher has a number of pre-made designs.
2. Burn a CD and make a CD label. You can use Roxio in order to burn the CD and make a label. (Ask the lab manager for labels and blank CDs.)
3. Make a calendar using Microsoft Publisher.
4. Design a t-shirt (we have iron-on paper.) Use Photoshop or Publisher to modify the image for the t-shirt.
5. Make business cards. Microsoft Publisher has pre-made designs for business cards.
6. Take a digital picture each meeting and track growth.

8. Create a newsletter in Publisher. It could be about your favorite sports team and thus could include: how the season is going, members of the team, information about the coach, photos, the schedule, etc.
9. Make a fashion magazine using InDesign. Plan out pages for articles, photos, and titles. Use Photoshop to make a creative cover.
10. Make a postcard using Publisher's pre-designed templates. C4K has postcard paper on which your creation can be printed.
11. Design and print stickers. C4K has sticker paper.
12. Quickly create a fun video using Animoto. Animoto is a web application that automatically generates videos using high-end motion design. Each video is a fully customized orchestration of user-selected images and music. It's free although it does require you to signup. It is a fun way to figure out how to make a good slide show!
13. Edit a movie poster from the student's favorite movie. You can Photoshop the student's picture onto the head of his or her favorite actor. (All Macs are equipped with a built-in camera, which can be used for the student's photo.)
14. Use Comic Life (on Macs only) to create a comic using photos the student has collected. Comic Life has an easy to use format to create simple comics. You could use Fireworks to create cartoon graphics.
15. Write a blogpost about . . . ANYTHING! Let us know and we will upload it to the C4K Student Blog.
16. Create an animation in Alice (tutorials highly recommended).
17. Edit a song in Audacity or Garage Band (go to the music folder in the Student Labshare for songs).
18. Make a movie of photos and add songs or effects in Windows Movie Maker.
