Project Description
Definition: A C4K project should be a creative, complete piece of work that demonstrates technical competence across at least 3 applications and reflects the student's interests and personality. The work should reflect the C4K essentials .
Time: A project can take anywhere from 9 to 18 weeks. .

Project Parts:

  • Photographs taken via digital camera and then manipulated using Photoshop
  • Icons or logos created in Fireworks
  • Original musical track created and edited with GarageBand or Audacity
  • Interactive, animated sequence created in Flash
  • Movie starring the student filmed with a movie camera, edited with iMovie
Final C4K  Projects take two or more of the parts listed above and present and organize them using another application such as:
  • Website created in Dreamweaver incorporating clickable icons, embedded music and video.
  • Book created in Blurb including altered photographs, captions, and dust jacket image.
  • Live action movie incorporating live footage, soundtrack, title and credits uploaded to youtube.com
  • Interactive animated short with clickable icons that drive the action
  • Animated movie with voice over and student created characters
  • Interactive PowerPoint quiz with edited photographs, embedded movies
  • Family tree organized in Blurb with relationships and photographs edited in Fireworks
